    part a)

    L=250 is correct

    m<A is NOT equal to m < B

    tan(delta)=200/150 ...........< delta (inner angle in right triangle, upper corner to the left) is equal to <A as angles with one common leg and two other legs are parallel

    tan(A)=tan(delta)=200/150

    <A= tan^-1(200/150)

    <A=53.13°

    then <B=90-<A
    <B=90-53.13°
    <B=36.87°

    part b)

    given: speed s=35mph
    L=250ft

    convert ft to miles
    250ft=0.0473485mil

    convert h to seconds
    1h=3600s

    L=s*t

    0.0473485mil=(35mil/3600s)*t

    t=(0.0473485mil)/(35mil/3600s)

    t=4.87 seconds

    I sure wish I had your math skills. I would have so much fun solving math problems.
