    Section 1.3
    Questions 38 and 42

    Use the slope of the line and the point on the line to find three additional points through which the line passes. (There are many correct answers.)

    38. m = −2, (0, −9)

    42. m is undefined, (2, 14)

    Seeking steps only. I will do the math.

    Use the slope - point formula

    y-y1=m(x-x1) where x1 and y1 are coordinates of given point, m is a slope
