    Solve for x.

    (2^(x - 4))^(1/3) = 16

    (2^(x - 4))^(1/3) = 16........raise to power of 3

    2^(x - 4)= 16^3...........write 16 as 2^4
    2^(x - 4)= (2^4)^3

    2^(x - 4)= 2^12 .........if base same, exponents are same too
    x - 4= 12
    x = 12+4
    x = 16
