    Section 1.9
    Question 46

    Part (a)

    f(x) = x^3 + 8

    y = x^3 + 8

    x = y^3 + 8

    (x - 8) = y^3

    Let cr = cube root

    cr{x - 8} = cr{y^3}

    cr{x - 8} = y

    For (b), what's a good calculator site for graphing several equations at once?

    Can you explain part (c)?

    Part (d)

    There is no restriction on x in terms of cube root functions.

    Domain = all real numbers
    Range = all real numbers
