    Section 4.7

    20211120_183535.jpg

    Part (a)

    sin(theta) = 5/s

    arcsin[sin(theta)] = arcsin(5/s)

    theta = arcsin(5/s)

    For (b) I simply evaluate for theta when s = 40 feet and again when x = 20 feet.

    You say?

    I need to practice more word problems. I heard some nightmare stories about related rates as taught in Calculus 1. I hope not to see that for a while.
