    Set 1.4
    David Cohen

    Part (a)

    What information in the problem indicates that the coordinates of point B are (a + b, c)?

    Part (b)

    Is my set up for (b) correct?

    Let M_1 = midpoint of line segment OB.

    Let M_2 = midpoint of line segment AC.

    M_1 = [(a + b + 0)/2, (c + 0)/2]

    M_2 = [(a + b)/2, (0 + c)/]

    Part (c)

    If M_1 = M_2, then the diagonals of parallelogram OABC bisect each other. Yes?

    Part (a)
    let coordinates of B be (x,y)

    OA || CB , and both are horizontal
    then x-a = b-0
    x =a+b
    and
    y= c

    set up for (b) is correct

    Part (c) yes
