Area & Perimeter of Sector

    Can you do 27 (a & b)? I will do 28.

    a.
    perimeter=2r+arc length

    angle is 30 degrees and arc length is fraction of the circle perimeter
    fraction of the circle is 30/360=1/12, fraction of the perimeter is (2r*pi)/12

    arc length=(2*5pi)/12=2.617

    then, perimeter=2*5+2.617=12.617

    b.
    area will be fraction of the circle *r^2*pi
    fraction of the circle is 30/360=1/12

    area
    A=(1/12)(5in)^2*pi
    A=(1/12)*25in^2*pi
    A=6.55in^2
